My name is Matt Chambers, and along with my wife, Amelia, we are the proud hosts of The Wildflower House & Guest Cottages in San Marcos, Texas. We've been managing this property since 2021, providing a unique and charming experience for our guests.

Our mission is to curate an unforgettable stay for our guests, to preserve the captivating history and charm of our property, and to offer a guests a welcoming and cozy place to discover the charm of San Marcos.

We've been operating The Wildflower House & Guest Cottages since 2021.
What motivated you to start your own business?
Our deep-rooted love for San Marcos and The Wildflower House motivated us to share this historical gem with others. We wanted to offer guests a chance to create remarkable memories in the heart of Texas.

We provide cozy cottages with well-equipped kitchens and private bathrooms. Guests can relax and rejuvenate in our shared pool and hot tub. Our essential amenities, coupled with a serene one-acre lot, ensure a peaceful stay.

We are excited to announce that The Wildflower House & Guest Cottages will soon offer event space, becoming a sought-after venue for micro-weddings, celebrations, and gatherings of under 100 people. We are diligently preparing to unveil this remarkable addition to our property.

One of our favorite things about being part of the San Marcos community is the vibrant energy and the close connection to Texas State University, our shared alma mater. We enjoy the river, the outdoor activities, and the hometown feel.
